For Claude, Cursor and any MCP client
Use ShopTrueProfit with AI agents
The ShopTrueProfit Fee & Profit MCP server gives your AI agent exact Etsy, eBay and Amazon FBA/FBM seller fee math: fees, profit, margin, break-even price and the price you need for a target margin. Every answer comes with an itemized breakdown and links to the official fee pages.
- 13 tools
- Same engine as our free calculators
- 2026 fee tables, with sources
- No logins or API keys to marketplaces
- Open source (MIT)
Why agents need it
Language models guess at marketplace fees, and fee rules are full of traps: Etsy charges processing on the sales tax and caps Offsite Ads at $100, eBay charges its final value fee on the whole order including tax and adds a per-order fee above $10, and Amazon has 37 referral categories with minimums, FBA size tiers and peak-season rates. This server does the math deterministically, so your agent quotes numbers you can check.
It runs the same fee engine as the free calculators on this site, byte for byte. Each result includes a one-line summary, the assumptions used, the fee-table version and the date it was verified, and a link to the matching calculator so a person can double-check it.

Try it
Ask your agent: "I sell a $25 item on eBay with $5 shipping. It costs me $8 and the label is $4. I promote at 5%. What do I make, and what should I charge for a 30% margin?" The agent calls ebay_profit:
{ "price": 25, "shipping_charged": 5, "item_cost": 8, "shipping_label_cost": 4, "promoted_listings_pct": 5 }
and gets back (shortened):
{
"summary": "eBay profit $12.02 on $30.00 revenue (40.07% margin) after $5.98 fees and $12.00 costs. Break-even price $10.24 per unit.",
